This is an elegant Queen Anne 18th century mirrored walnut hanging corner cupboard. It has an arched cornice with a single arched door with bevelled mirror and brass escutcheon above a candle slide on a moulded plinth base, enclosing three fixed shelves. It comes with a working key.
 
The cupboard is uncommon to the market in good original condition. A similar Queen Anne walnut hanging corner cupboard sold at Bonhams in 2015 for £3500 (lot 1, 11th March 2015) and at Christie's in 1999 for £8050 (lot 265, 11th November 1999).

    There are various light marks, scratches, and chips commensurate with age and use. There are some cracks between the joints of the veneers and some slight historic worm. The mirror is oxidised and there is a slight crack to the top right. The mirror appears to be original. The lock is present and also appears to be original. It comes with a working key.

We can usually arrange delivery with a third party courier on behalf of the buyer. Typical costs are around £80 - £100 within mainland UK for an average-sized chest of drawers and may take up to 14 days, unless an expediated service is required. Costs will be higher for larger items and remote locations. Although we do everything possible to ensure that items arrive safely, we cannot be held responsible for damage incurred after items leave our premises.

Collections are welcomed by prior arrangement from our address in Worcestershire.

REFUNDS & RETURNS

Full refunds will be provided for all items returned in the same condition as they were sold within 30 days of purchase.
